Hijama near Falls Church and Arlington, VA

Getting here from Falls Church and Arlington
From Falls Church the practice is about 13.9 miles away, roughly 24 minutes by car. From the middle of Arlington it is about 18.8 miles, roughly 31 minutes.
From both, the drive is almost all I-66 west. From Falls Church you join it from Route 7; from Arlington, from Glebe Road or wherever you usually get on. Leave at the Fairfax County Parkway / Fair Lakes exit, and you are a couple of minutes from the building.
These are clear-road figures from OpenStreetMap routing, checked in October 2026. Weekday rush hour can stretch them a long way, so check your map on the day, just before you leave. I-66 is the whole story on this trip. It has express toll lanes; the regular lanes are free and are fine outside rush hour. Heading west in the late afternoon on a weekday is the slow direction, so an earlier slot, or a weekend one, makes the drive much easier.
Why it suits Falls Church and Arlington
Search for cupping in the inner suburbs and much of what comes up is sports or spa cupping: suction only, as one service among many. If you want hijama as a Sunnah practice, with wet cupping, a sterile single-use kit and a practitioner of the same gender as you, it is worth the drive out to Fair Lakes. It is the trip people most often tell us was easier than they had expected.
When you get to Fair Lakes
The address to put into your phone is 4401 Fair Lakes Ct, Fairfax, VA 22033. We are inside the HAWA Fairfax Community Center, in Room 401a on the fourth floor.
The Fair Lakes exit is the one people coming out from the inner suburbs remember: off the interstate, and a minute later you are there. The community center is a low, dark-glass building set back behind trees, with a paved path up to the entrance. There is no clinic sign outside, so look for the building, not a sign.
Parking is free. Use the lot outside the building; park anywhere, no permit is needed. The parking lot, the entrance and the restroom are wheelchair accessible, and there is an elevator up to the fourth floor.
Come a few minutes early. A few screening questions come first, then the session; allow about an hour and a half for brothers and two hours for sisters. What to eat, wear and bring is on the booking page.
Who you will see, and what it costs
A woman practitioner for sisters, a man for brothers. Wet cupping (hijama) is $135, dry cupping $115, with a $55 deposit at booking that comes off the price (prices in full). By appointment only; book here. New to hijama? Start with What is Hijama?

Hijama is a traditional practice and is not a substitute for medical care. If you are on medication, pregnant, or unsure for any reason, speak to your doctor first and say so at intake.
